I visited this place without much expectation and we loved it. May be best suitable for kids but even for adults not a bad idea. I loved the garden and the pond area most. Even the area where animals are kept, very special. Kids may have lot of fun in the muddy puddle. I also liked the chicken area. There are cow. horse, pigs, chichen, sheep and more. It has free parking space and toilets. It is alao easily accessible by bus. Hope you have fun too, enjoy. 😊
Really great little farm to take children to. Its free but donations are welcome. A lovely way to entertain and educate youngsters.
Especially liked the pop up shop which sold fresh locally grown produce which is open every couple of weeks in season.
A Small farm in Shooters Hill, London. They had a selection of animals, including: pigs, lambs, chickens & guinea Pigs. No entry fee required they just request a donation. There was a car park and they had a little shop, and a cafe I think but it seemed to be closed. It's too small for a day trip but a lovely stop off for the children.
We decided to try a new farm for our daughters first birthday and we were very pleasantly surprised with what we found.
Not many animals, a mini horse, a few sheep, pigs and a cow we didn't see but a highlight was the baby piglet's born Tuesday this week. I have never seen anything so small yet so independent, absolutely made the day.
There was a small stall outside selling produce and the apple juice is a must buy, they have many different varieties and all are better than store bought!
Came here out of peak and really enjoyed it.
Animals are well looked after and healthy.
Small variety, but you can see them all really well from the path. Room for a few more which one guy said they might bring in.
Shame there wasn’t more for the kids to play on/with. Could do with a play area or something.
The blacksmith workshop was really interesting, they could look into getting a wood workshop which might add another area of interest.
Great place to take kids. You can leave them to explore every bit of it.
very good place to visit with small kids. Cows, sheep, chickens, tractor, loads of fun for small once. Free entrance, parking available.
Lovely place if you like farms. Has a cafe at the entrance and hidden at the back of the farm is a picnic area with a pond. Quiet and a few farm animals to see. Great for a family visit.
